Just thought I'd x-post this from my LJ:

So we took him for his follow-up on Sunday to get the stitches out and learned the stones in his bladder were calcium oxilate(or something like that, I just know the first word was calcium). We have a new special food we have to give him and Dr. W told us how we have to do it and it does NOT involve force-feeding. He was really mad that somebody told us that it was the only way to make Bernie eat, and he said he was going to chew that tech out.

So what we have to do is put the food down for one or two hours. If Bernie doesn't eat it, we take it away and set it where he can't reach it and try again later. Dr. W said eventually it will get into Bernie's head that "It's the stuff he thinks is yucky or nothing and he'll learn to like it."

Well, within a day Bernie is eating this new food and he's discovered he loves it(it's got liver flavoring and he loves liver). We have no feeding issues now, and when my mom called the Dr. W last night to give him an update on Bernie's nutritional intake, she was informed that he figured out who told us to force feed Bernie. That person was a TEMP sitting in for a tech who called in sick that day. That person will not be hired as a temp in that facility ever again.

So that's how Bernie is doing. He's eating, he's going pee without a problem and he's back to his goofy self.

The Ambrosia Forums [link]

It's not just Ambrosia, there's places for everything Transformers where YOU can post your fics/art/photos.

For now, only people I know are having their accounts validated. So if you're an Ambrosia fan and want to join, note me with "FORUM" in the title and let me know what name you're using to sign up. I'll go in and validate you as soon as possible. Please be warned that if I feel iffy because you're not on my buddy list, I may take longer because aside from a few friends I have no idea who I can trust around here.

I will never post another fic here again. I still have accounts on a few other places where I can post my fics, but I'm working on getting all my works up on the AF where only those I want to see it will see it, and any names I see trying to register without notifying me first will very likely be kicked right back out. So, once again, if you want in, note me, tell me the name you're using if it isn't the same name you use elsewhere and I'll get you in.

I'll still socialize here and post art/photos, but no more fics. I'll gladly pop in to notify you if I have a new fic up or have the next part in a multiparter up. We'll see how that goes, as I'm in the process of writing more OptimusxMikaela

Oh yeah, there's a positive at the end of all of this.
